L'histoire
du domaine.
Domellsellsellsellsells sontellsellsellsellsells deep roots in the Loire Valley, the Domaine Vincent Careme was established in 1999. Situated in Vernou-sur-Brenne within the Vouvray appellation, the estate now spans 24 hectares dedicated exclusively to Chenin Blanc. The vines are cultivated according to organic agriculture standards. A distinctive feature of the domaine is its XVIth-century troglodyte cellar, where wines are vinified and aged in barrels and foudres. The estate produces a diverse range of wines, including dry whites, sparkling wines, and demi-sec or sweet wines sourced from selected terroirs. Since partnering with Tania, a cuvée of Steen (the local name
chemin de fer) is vinified near the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, marketed under the label Terre Brûlée. The domaine welcomes visitors year-round to share tastings within its troglodyte cellars.
